These dartboards are made from basswood. They are made with end grain facing out --so your darts stick easier. These boards are double sided * meaning the other side of the board is identical to the one you are seeing. The center of the board is cut out to rotate the innings for a longer life of the board. Since the boards are made of natural wood no board will look the same and may have blemishes in the wood.
